ABOUT E.N.

Rev. E.N. Hill works to build a liberated future—
one Sunday morning, protest march, and relationship at a time.

Rev. E.N. Hill, M.Div. (they/he) is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, social justice activist, storyteller, and military veteran. After serving for 15 years as an Air Force Aviator and Senior Leader, they separated honorably from active duty to pursue full-time theological education. In 2020, Rev. E.N. earned a Master of Divinity from Starr King School for the Ministry with a concentration in multi-religious leadership.

Currently the Associate Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta, Rev. E.N. is widely respected for their ministry rooted in prophetic witness, queer theology, and community healing. They were welcomed into preliminary fellowship with the UU Ministers’ Association in 2022, following a parish internship in Ottawa, Canada.

Their personal interests include time in nature, music, running, journaling, and preparing to publish an anthology of poetry and short stories detailing their mystical seminary journey.

  • Rev. E.N. led the Juneteenth Worship Service at the UUA General Assembly. Their sermon was widely lauded and is available to watch here.

  • Rev. E.N. led an Atlanta chapter of the Longest Night of Witness. Clergy of many faiths gathered simultaneously across states for a synchronized moment of moral witness. Together, they reflected and raised awareness about rising gun and political violence, ICE raids and deportations, increased insurance costs and Medicaid reductions, and the compounded harms contained within the so-called “Big Ugly Bill.”

  • Rev. E.N. led chants and songs for the No Kings protest at the Atlanta Civic Center and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta (UUCA). Following the demonstration at UUCA, Rev. E.N. led a reflection session to determine next steps for the faith community.

  • Rev. E.N. Hill joined representatives of Spiritual Living Center Atlanta, the Poor People's Campaign, and The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries to raise their voices at the Georgia State Capitol. Rev. E.N. spoke at the "Moral Monday: A Southern Call to Conscience" gathering. Organized by Repairers of the Breach, faith and social justice leaders gathered to share their opposition to the Trump Administration’s violent budget bill.
